I would steer clear of this apartment complex. Itâs just another money hungry company who does not care about their tenants. This was supposed to be an upgrade from our prior apartment, but it ended up being a huge downgrade. We almost tripled our rent for less space and poor management. They advertised covered parking. Thereâs not a single covered parking spot on the premises. New tenants are expected to abide by a no smoking rule but prior residents do not. Our neighbor was constantly smoking on their patio and it would waft up to our apartment. Maintenance was supposed to be available 24 hours yet it seemed like we never got the help we needed. Upon moving in our A/C was not working. It was running temperatures of 95-100 degrees during the day and upper 80's at night. We did call in an attempt to get the issue fixed as it was nearly unbearable to be in the apartment. But their solution was to have the maintenance guy who had covid come to our apartment. Which we didn't want as we didn't want to get covid. I was forced to leave my dog at the apartment in the blazing heat to go to work. She was overheating and barking, and my husband was doing his best to keep her comfortable by taking time out of his work day to check on her. Instead of being understanding, as they knew the situation, we got a written warning to have her stop. I understand she can't be barking, but to go as far as giving us a warning on our FIRST DAY living there, especially when the situation could be avoided if our apartment had A/C, it's really going too far. We finally were given a beat up portable A/C to help keep things cool while we waited for the A/C to be repaired, but it barely even adequately cooled our bedroom. Our dishwasher was broken upon moving in as well. We mentioned this to maintenance, and they brought the part to fix it. But instead of them installing it they asked my husband to do it. He did replace the part, and lo and behold it was still broken. At that point we just gave up on using maintenance at all and just went without the dishwasher for our entire residency there. Shortly after moving in they informed us they would be painting the outside of our building and we needed to remove all our patio furniture during this time. The painters left trash in the yard and really did a poor job painting. Then we were given a few days' notice to remove our washer and dry from the laundry room as they were renovating it. They gave us an estimate of a few days to have the renovation completed. We went without our washer and dryer for almost two weeks, to only replace the shelf and flooring and put a fresh coat of paint on the wall. We were just expected to go to the laundry mat or not have clean clothes during this time. We were constantly dealing with things like this, and were still expected to pay full rent even though the majority of the time we were dealing with ârenovationsâ and losing amenities. There were inspections about every 6 months as well. We were expected to remove our belongings from the storage room so they could âinspectâ the breaker box. It was a lot of work for us for them to spend about two seconds in the room. Then on our second inspection we had taken down a fire alarm to replace the battery as it was chirping at us. And they stated they could fine us for this and they could tell if âwe tampered with itâ. Not sure why someone would tamper with a fire alarm or what they were insinuating but it was out right ridiculous. And when a personal situation happened, the way everything was handled was extremely frustrating and made an already horrible situation much worse. Some mail had been delivered there after moving out and when my husband went to pick it up we were missing almost all of it and my husband's personal mail had been opened. Itâs absolutely baffling as to why it was opened, as it had nothing that pertained to them. It was by far the worst renting experience I've ever had, please stay away and donât make the mistake we did.
