The owners (whoever they are...) of this place are typical greedy people with no care/connection to the people that live here.
Pre-arranged mandatory cable deal: I've been paying $50 a month for cable that I literally don't even use. What reason could they possibly have to work out such a thing unless they were getting some kind of kickback....
$950 for a 1 br/1bth with appliances from the 70s and kid sized everything. The kitchen is not meant for anyone to actually use - merely so they can say they provide something. But despite it being uselessly small and outdated, they don't even provide a microwave!
Better not be even 1 second late on a payment, because if you are - $155 extra! No recourse or ability to work with the owners.
Typical ~60 page contract that totally strips you of any level of privacy or decency and gives them basically unilateral authority to enter your house for any reason at anytime. Also, don't even think about going to month to month because then it's an extra $150/month....
No parking spot covers and slow/incomplete plowing.
The only reason I don't give them 1 star is that I'm sure most landlords are like this. And they did come to fix my AC within 24hr last summer.
